I didn’t know how big a difference bringing a lender that I picked and that I trust to the table would make. Theoni blew past all my expectations and set the bar high enough that I would have a hard time going with another lender in the future. I can’t stop telling everyone about her! In the end, we didn’t get a better deal going this route versus a company like Rocket Mortgage. I was under the impression that because a company like Rocket is bigger and National, their rates may be steeper. The rate which we closed was exactly the same that Rocket quoted us in August 2023.
